My collecting journey began back in 1995.
After watching the newly independent Slovak national team compete for the first time at the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer — especially seeing the youngest player, Miroslav Šatan, score nine goals — my passion for hockey truly began to grow.

In addition to the national team, my heart quickly attached to HC Košice, who reached the finals in all six of the first seasons of the Slovak Extraliga. And of course, I admired legends like sniper Vlastimil Plavucha, Jaromír Dragan, Ján Varholík, and many others.

Over time, I also became more interested in the NHL. As kids, we used to write letters to NHL clubs overseas. In January 1995, just days after my 11th birthday, I received a thin envelope from Pittsburgh — inside was a Mario Lemieux card with his autograph.

That was my very first card, and I had no idea what kind of treasure I was holding — or where it would eventually lead me.
Though I’ve had many favorite players and teams over the years, the Pittsburgh Penguins became my number one — not least because of the number of Slovak and Czech players who played for the club.

I’ve been collecting cards — with a few breaks — for over 30 years now. I still regularly open boxes and packs to grow my collection. That Lemieux card is still with me… along with over 20,000 others.

Of course, not all of them are valuable — the cheaper ones have started piling up, so I’ve decided to offer some for trade or occasional sale.

This website focuses primarily on the NHL and the Slovak Tipsport Liga — you’ll find a special section where you can browse cards by your favorite team from either league.

You’ll also find a wide selection of football cards, stickers, autographs, and other collectibles.

I’m offering them to you — fellow collectors who share the same “addiction.”
